As an associate in our Banking Practice, you will have the opportunity to work with top-tier clients and gain invaluable experience in private credit, acquisition finance, and leveraged finance matters. This is a high-growth practice with a supportive and collegial culture, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our team.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking associates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance. Our ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication and analytical skills, and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment. In addition, candidates should have a passion for finance and banking law and a desire to constantly learn and grow in their career.

Responsibilities

As an associate in our Banking Practice, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex finance and banking matters, including private credit transactions, leveraged finance deals, and acquisition finance deals. Your responsibilities may include:

- Drafting and negotiating loan agreements, credit agreements, and other financing documents
- Conducting due diligence and legal research
- Advising clients on regulatory compliance and risk management issues
- Collaborating with colleagues and clients to develop and implement effective legal strategies
- Managing and mentoring junior associates and paralegals

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the state where you will be working
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing exceptional client service
