The law firm of Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Pre-Suit Attorney in Savannah, Georgia to join their team. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits. The successful candidate will have a law degree from an accredited school, be an active member of the GA State Bar Association, and have at least 2 years of personal injury experience. They will also have strong leadership skills, excellent client service and communication abilities, and be able to manage a high volume of cases. This role reports to the Pre-Suit Operations Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day handling of pre-litigation work, guiding clients through the case process, drafting and filing documents, overseeing settlement negotiations, and managing a team of 6-10 Case Managers. The focus will be on personal injury cases, primarily automotive, and the candidate should have experience with EUOs, PIP Statements, and recorded statements.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
- Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
- Guide clients through the case process
- Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
- Complete TD approval for liability issues
- Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
- Manage the release approval process
- Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers
- Focus on Personal injury cases, primarily automotive
- Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
- EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements
Requirements:
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- An active member in good standing with the GA State Bar Association
- 2+ years of personal injury experience
- Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
