Job Title: Regulatory or Litigation Paralegal

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Department: Legal

Location: Oakland, CA

Employment Type: Full-time, 12-month contract with potential for permanent employment

Experience: Over 3 years in litigation and regulatory matters, prior in-house or law firm experience preferred



Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assisting attorneys in all phases of litigation and regulatory matters
- Conducting site inspections and supporting in-person hearings
- Ensuring consistency and alignment in testimony and witness statements
- Managing filing of legal documents
- Conducting legal research and providing support in drafting legal documents
- Maintaining organized and accurate records
- Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the legal field



Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
- Over 3 years of experience in litigation and regulatory matters
- Prior in-house or law firm experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
