Tax Senior Manager - DART (Depreciation Analysis and Reporting Tool)
Salary range: $131,740 - $299,910 per year
Position Summary:
The Tax Senior Manager - DART (Depreciation Analysis and Reporting Tool) is responsible for providing tax consulting and compliance services to clients in various industries. This role requires excellent tax compliance skills and the ability to manage a team and build strong client relationships. The Tax Senior Manager will also have access to an elite group of specialists and support from firm leadership to ensure success in their role and career.
Work responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships on various tax engagements
- Oversee complex federal tax compliance and consulting projects for different entities and their affiliates
- Manage engagement workflow, team resources, and billing
- Provide leadership, counseling, and career guidance for the development and motivation of the team
- Assist with marketplace targeting and client-specific marketing materials
The team:
The National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) is a national practice within **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. that offers various tax services, including Global Tax Depreciation Services. NFTS is made up of entrepreneurial tax specialists who work hard and play hard. The team uses the proprietary Depreciation Analysis & Reporting Tool (DART) to help clients with efficient tax cost recovery calculations and planning through advanced technologies and data analytics.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Ability to work within a hybrid work model (in-person and remote)
- 8+ years of experience in core federal tax compliance, including federal and/or international
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Active accreditation (CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, or certifications such as PMP or CFA)
Preferred:
- Advanced degree (MST or MAcc)
- Mid-level to advanced skills in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Tax Depreciation Software
- Previous experience with Big 4 or large CPA firms
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary information:
The disclosed salary range takes into account various factors such as skills, experience, training, licensure, and certifications. The estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differentials. The typical starting salary for this role is $131,740 per year, with potential for growth up to $299,910 per year.
