Job Title: Commercial Counsel

Job Summary:
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking a self-starting and motivated individual to join our team as a Commercial Counsel. As a leading renewables developer, owner, and operator, we offer end-to-end execution capabilities and a dynamic growth environment. In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal support to our Development group and managing various legal aspects of our projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate PPA, IA, and other offtake agreements
- Manage legal aspects of transaction agreements, including project sales and acquisitions
- Oversee development agreements, such as site control, permitting, and title agreements
- Review general corporate legal agreements as needed
- Manage due diligence processes for selected transactions
- Coordinate with outside counsel as needed
- Manage paralegals and other staff as needed

Required Qualifications:
-
- Minimum 5 years of experience in drafting and negotiating contracts for traditional or renewable energy projects
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Sense of humor

Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience with project finance is a plus

Salary Information:
Salary Range: $130, - $160,*
*Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
