Position Summary:
- Seeking experienced Tax Manager to join growing team
- Opportunity to work with largest clients in the most strategic part of the tax practice
- Responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services to investment management clients
- Manage client relationships and deliver tax advisory services
Responsibilities:
- High-level review of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax filings
- Lead client meetings on compliance and advisory projects related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of various transactions
- Train, mentor, and supervise Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors
- Act as lead client contact
- Conduct billing and profitability analysis on engagements
- Participate in marketplace eminence building and pursuits
Qualifications:
Required:
- Ability to work within a hybrid model, requiring in-person work 2-3 days per week
- 5+ years of experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns
- 3+ years of experience with investment management or partnership taxation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field
- Active accreditation such as licensed CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, or certifications such as CFA or CFP
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on work and clients served
Preferred:
- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM
- Previous experience at Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting
- Project management experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong communication skills
Salary Information:
- Wage range for this role takes into account various factors such as skill sets, experience, certifications, and business needs
- Estimated range is $84,980 to $193,440
- Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance
