Manager, Renewable Development - Chicago, IL - Full Time
Invenergy is seeking a Manager of Renewable Development to join our team in our Chicago headquarters. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the transition from development to execution of utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects across the United States. Responsibilities:
- Lead late stage contracting meetings with offtake partners and coordinate with various departments and external stakeholders
- Conduct diligence efforts to facilitate information sharing between the company and offtake partners
- Align projects with long-term company strategy and initiatives
- Assist with project budgeting and scheduling
- Manage tasks according to budgets and schedules
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience in the renewable and/or clean energy industry
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel as needed
- Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business or engineering
- Master's degree, JD, or MBA is a plus
- Relevant experience in originating, engineering, managing the development of, or managing the construction of complex energy infrastructure projects
- Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Strong organizational, networking, leadership, time management, and accounting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
