The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. (OSC) is currently seeking motivated law school students for its Summer Law Clerk Program. This program provides students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in administrative law and government oversight and accountability while working alongside experienced attorneys.

As a law clerk, you will be assigned to one of OSC's Program Offices based on your skills, past work experience, and interests. These offices include the Hatch Act Unit (HAU), which investigates and resolves complaints of unlawful political activity, and the Merit System Protection Board (MSBP), which hears cases related to federal employee whistleblower protections.

Your duties as a law clerk may include assisting attorneys in investigations and litigation, researching and drafting memoranda on statutory interpretation, and analyzing legal issues in cases. You may also have the opportunity to attend MSBP hearings and gain insight into the role of attorneys in the public sector.

The Summer Law Clerk Program is a 10-week immersive program that offers students valuable professional and networking opportunities. It also allows students to learn about other small agencies and gain a deeper understanding of the legal field in the public sector.
