About the Role
We are seeking a Family Law Attorney with a proven track record in New York divorce litigation. In this role, you will:
Independently Manage Cases
- Oversee a full caseload of complex divorce, custody, and financial disputes from initial consultation through trial or settlement.
Lead Litigation & Negotiation
- Appear in court, argue motions, conduct depositions, and leverage advanced negotiation tactics to secure optimal outcomes.
Client Advocacy & Relationship Building
- Serve as the primary legal strategist for your clients, maintaining open communication and setting realistic expectations throughout the divorce process.
Strategic Firm Growth
- Contribute to the firm’s continued expansion by enhancing our reputation in the family law community, and by helping build client and referral networks.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active New York State Bar membership in good standing.
- 5+ years of hands-on family law/divorce litigation experience in New York.
- Demonstrated courtroom proficiency, including trials or high-level motion practice.
- Excellent client-management skills, with the ability to handle emotionally charged situations effectively.
