The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3 years of work experience in professional services or a professional tax organization. A CPA license or a licensed Attorney is required, or the ability to achieve either certification. The base salary range for this position is $81,200 to $133,900, with higher salaries for specific locations such as New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento).
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of interesting and challenging tax planning and compliance projects. You will also have the chance to act as a key point of contact for a wide range of clients and colleagues, and develop into a trusted advisor role for high net worth individuals and families.
Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing complex individual tax returns, researching tax issues, and building effective relationships with clients. To qualify for this role, you must have a thorough understanding of estate and wealth planning, as well as experience with federal and state personal and trust income tax.
