Law Firm is seeking an experienced Securities Attorney to join our Corporate, Securities and M&A Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' experience in private securities offerings, fund work, and joint ventures, and a strong academic background.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as lead counsel on private placement offerings, private funds, and sophisticated joint ventures
- Advise clients on securities laws and regulations
- Draft and review legal documents related to securities transactions
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for clients
- Stay updated on changes in securities laws and regulations
- Manage and mentor junior attorneys and support staff
- Collaborate with other departments within the law firm to provide comprehensive legal services
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in private securities offerings, fund work, and joint ventures
- from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing
- Strong academic credentials
- Prior experience as lead counsel on private placement offerings, private funds, and sophisticated joint ventures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
