Law Firm Seeking Summer Associate in New York Office - Salary Information Included

As a Summer Associate, you will have the opportunity to work directly with partners and associates in our three core practice areas: Corporate, Fund Formation, and Strategic Transactions & Licensing.

Experience and Training Opportunities
As a Summer Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in our core practice areas, including venture financings, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and more. Our Summer Program committee team oversees work assignments to ensure a mix of transactions and exposure to different practice areas. We also encourage our Summer Associates to explore all of our practice areas to gain a well-rounded understanding of the company lifecycle and client needs.
In addition to hands-on experience, our Summer Program also offers a robust training curriculum that mirrors our firm's associate trainings. This includes additional programming specifically designed for Summer Associates, featuring speakers and panels to help you get to know our attorneys, their practices, and our firm's culture and expertise.
Mentorship and Support

As a Summer Associate, you will be assigned to a mentor pod consisting of partners and associates who will guide you throughout the program and beyond. You will also have the opportunity to develop informal mentor relationships through work assignments, training programs, and social events.
Qualifications and Eligibility
We are looking for law students who demonstrate academic success, excellent interpersonal skills, strong business judgment, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Prior experience in technology or life sciences at a startup or in a venture environment is a plus. 1Ls are eligible for our Gunderson 1L Diversity Fellowship, while rising 2Ls can apply for our 2L Summer Associate positions through career fairs and OCI recruitment at various law schools. Rising 3Ls are eligible for entry-level associate positions.
