Job Description:
KPMG is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join our Trade and Customs practice. The role includes providing advice to clients in various industries on trade compliance matters, leading and managing client projects, supporting market development and thought leadership initiatives, and researching and writing advice on export compliance. Additionally, the role involves managing, developing, and training team members.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advice to clients on trade compliance matters
- Lead and manage client projects related to trade compliance
- Support market development and thought leadership initiatives
- Research and write advice on export compliance
- Manage, develop, and train team members
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of recent direct experience in trade compliance
- Bachelors degree, ., . in taxation, or MBA from an accredited college/university
- Outstanding and in-depth experience with . import and export control regulations
- General export control and sanctions experience
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication/presentation skills
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
Additional Qualifications for Senior Associate:
- Minimum three years of recent direct experience in import and/or export compliance
- United States Customs Broker or CUSECO certification preferred
Salary Information:
KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. The salary range for this role is $59,300 - $99,200. Any offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and market considerations.
