Saul Ewing is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Coordinator to join our team. This is a hybrid position that offers a mix of remote and in-office work, and is open to candidates in any of our offices. As an eDiscovery Coordinator, you will work closely with our litigation attorneys, paralegals, and business partners/vendors on matters involving eDiscovery and trial support. This is a key role within our firm, with 70% of your time dedicated to billable work for our clients and 30% focused on non-billable tasks such as operations, internal projects, administrative tasks, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and respond to emails in the LSS mailbox in a timely manner
Enter projects and tasks into project management software for Specialists and Project Managers
Administer network drives and ensure proper security measures are in place
Manage document review platforms, virtual data rooms, FTP solutions, and other platforms
Assist Specialists and Project Managers with data processing, loading, searching, and exporting
Collaborate with case teams to prepare for depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials
Procure new equipment and licenses and maintain accurate logging
Document case-related information and collaborate with team members and vendors
Manage case closure work, including archiving data and documenting case closure actions
Coordinate with the Records Department on physical evidence management and logging
Submit transactional bills to the Accounting & Billing Department for team members
Assist with former employee audits to deactivate accounts when an employee leaves
Assist with creating Access Control Lists and Uptime Metrics for ISO evidence
Assist with non-billable projects and documentation, such as software rollouts and migrations
Identify and escalate issues and risks to department and firm leadership as needed
Build and maintain strong relationships with attorneys and professional staff
Accurately record billable and non-billable time on a daily basis
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in eDiscovery
Bachelor's degree required
Industry- and job-related certifications (CEDS, RCA, PMP, CIPP) are a plus
Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office
Curiosity and willingness to learn new technology and workflows
Familiarity with eDiscovery software, such as Relativity, is preferred
Experience with virtual data room platforms, like HighQ, is a plus
Knowledge of case management software, such as Opus 2, is a bonus

The salary for this position will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, education, external market data, internal equity, and other job-related factors. We anticipate the pay range for this role to be between $75k to $90k annually.
