Law Firm in Philadelphia Seeks Professional Liability Paralegal with Strong Organizational and Communication Skills

Are you an experienced paralegal looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills and grow in a dynamic and successful law firm? Look no further! Eckert Seamans, a highly reputable national law firm with over 65 years of experience, is seeking a Professional Liability Paralegal for their Philadelphia office. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule and excellent benefits, including generous PTO, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k plan, and more.

As a Professional Liability Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys in their litigation and business counsel. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing medical records, filing documents with courts, summarizing cases, managing documents and spreadsheets, and acting as a liaison among various parties. You will also assist with conducting research, preparing for trials, and coordinating large-scale document jobs with Office Services.

To be successful in this role, you must have strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. You should also have a good understanding of legal terminology and the . legal system, as well as proficiency in electronic court filing, Microsoft Office365, and document management systems.

The ideal candidate will have a high school degree or equivalent, with a college degree or Paralegal Certification from an ABA accredited program preferred. You should also have a minimum of two years of substantive experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm setting. Extensive experience with reviewing and organizing medical records and knowledge of medical malpractice are preferred.

Physical requirements for this job include prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer, as well as the ability to stand, ambulate, carry, push, pull, reach, and bend. Travel is not expected for this position.
