Paralegal, IP Litigation The candidate will be conducting statutory, regulatory, or factual research with respect to client matters. Participating in due diligence, privilege, and other reviews of client records and files. Initiating pleadings, fact and expert discovery, and motion practice. Assisting with organization of client materials and attorney work product, including use of databases, imaging systems, and other computer-based technology. Maintaining pleadings files and other case or project records. Maintaining chronological records of project activity. Arranging filings, mailings, and service list deliveries with appropriate courts, government agencies, and other parties. Under supervision of a lawyer, drafting, editing, cite-checking, conforming, and otherwise assisting in the preparation of legal documents. Obtaining services from outside contractors including court reporters, research services, exhibit preparation services, filing services and printers. Processing billing and disbursement paperwork in connection with contractor services. Acting as liaison for the project team with support staff departments and other offices of the Firm. Bachelor's degree is required. Should have 3+ years of related work experience. Prior trial experience is required. Paralegal certificate is preferred.
