Job Title: Connecticut Personal Injury Associate
Experience: Minimum 3 years of personal injury experience
Department: Litigation

Responsibilities:

- Litigate personal injury cases in Connecticut, including automobile and premises liability cases
- Collaborate with clients, team members, and partners to gather factual and medical evidence for injury claims
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, and motions for various CT state courts
- Conduct legal research on novel issues in State and Federal cases and present and argue discovery motions
- Manage court approval process for wrongful death and minor cases, including drafting petitions and overseeing the full approval process
- Prepare cases for pre-litigation, litigation, and settlement
- Manage pleadings, process service, and ensure deadlines are met

Requirements:

- Admitted to the CT bar
- Minimum of 3 years of personal injury experience
- Team player with a caring and compassionate attitude towards clients
- Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft suite and comfort with technology
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Admission to New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, or West Virginia bar is a plus
