As a full-time Billing Coordinator at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., you will be responsible for coordinating the client billing process for an assigned group of partners. This role will involve working closely with attorneys to prepare client invoices, communicating with partners and managing associates, and ensuring that billing processes comply with firm policies and client agreements. With a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $95,000, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join one of the largest international law firms in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the monthly client billing process and distribution of invoices to clients
- Prepare and distribute monthly prebills to responsible billing partners and their teams
- Process comments and revisions from partners and associates
- Monitor time and disbursement transfers and write-offs
- Prepare and distribute draft bills for review and approval
- Ensure billing partner approval is obtained to finalize bills
- Prepare, submit, and monitor e-bills
- Post bills in the client billing system and ensure proper documentation is filed
- Communicate and liaise proactively with billing partners
- Understand Work in Progress ("WIP") Provisions and monitor aging levels
- Review and analyze matters for compliance with client agreements and billing guidelines
- Set up new matters under e-billing clients with correct information
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable team to resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain files and documentation in accordance with firm policy
- Respond to partner and client inquiries in a timely manner
- Report monthly billing projections
- Prepare various billing reports and analyses
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of relevant legal billing experience
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment

- Strategic, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to identify issues and provide solutions
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, e-billing software, and document management systems
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
