In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of new business intake, including conflict checking and resolution, as well as documentation of matter engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee new business intake process and ensure compliance with firm policies and procedures
- Conduct conflict of interest searches and assist attorneys with clearance
- Draft engagement letters and secure client agreement
- Coordinate with firm leaders on approval of business terms
- Manage implementation of Outside Counsel Guidelines
- Supervise and work with conflicts staff
- Collaborate with Professional Responsibility Attorneys on lateral hiring process
- Assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active license to practice law in the United States
- 2+ years of experience as a Conflicts Attorney or comparable role
- Strong understanding of legal relationships and risk management
- Familiarity with Rules of Professional Conduct
- Experience with database review and searching
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficient in using reference materials and conducting internet searches
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
