Position Profile

- Reporting to the Vice President, Regulatory and Corporate Affairs
- Responsible for drafting policy submissions on telecommunications and broadcasting matters before the FCC and other public bodies
- Provide advice to the business and collaborate with team members across 13 states to advance **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s interests
- Strategic role in ensuring regulatory compliance and advocating for the company's business objectives

Job Responsibilities

- Serve as primary point of contact on regulatory matters, including broadband, wireline and wireless telephony, and video services
- Draft submissions for public proceedings before administrative and government bodies, such as the FCC
- Analyze regulatory rules and decisions and assess proposed strategies
- Advise senior management on new legislation, regulations, and compliance activities
- Support public affairs and government relations activities
- Ensure regulatory filing compliance and serve as a **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. representative to external groups and trade associations
- Liaise with external counsel as needed to address complex legal and regulatory issues

Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience practicing law
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to manage complex legal matters with cross-functional stakeholders and prioritize assignments under time constraints
- Strong understanding of balancing business imperatives with regulatory considerations
- Experience with telecommunications and broadcasting regulations preferred
