Job Title: Paralegal - Trial - Boston Office
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years in a paralegal role
Location: Boston, MA
Overview:
- Global law firm with 900+ attorneys
- Seeking experienced Litigation Paralegal for 30 attorney Boston office
- Emphasis on Intellectual Property and complex litigation
Essential Functions:
- Prepare, organize, and file documents and correspondence with the court
- Conduct legal research
- Update and maintain docketing and filing
- Prepare for depositions and facilitate service of process
- Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Perform administrative duties
- Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices
- Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Accurately track and record billable and non-billable time
- Draft correspondence, notices, and affidavits
- Proofread as needed
Experience/Qualifications:
- Proficient in Electronic Court Filing, E-discovery, and litigation software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work additional hours and travel when needed
- Certification or associate’s degree in paralegal studies preferred
