This position will primarily focus on consumer protection litigation defense on behalf of manufacturers. The firm is open to offering remote, part-time, or flexible hour arrangements for this role.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support an active and dynamic practice, working on cases in state and federal courts as well as arbitration. The role will involve a variety of tasks, including discovery, depositions, and motions practice. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume of litigation cases with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

- Support an active and dynamic practice that includes discovery, depositions, and motions practice in state and federal courts and arbitration
- Prepare and draft routine written discovery, including defensive and offensive responses, and document production
- Organize and redact documents and records efficiently and consistently
- Manage eDiscovery, including organization, searches, productions, redactions, and logging document dispositions
- Analyze and synthesize materials, records, and documentation to prepare detailed case evaluations for consumer protection litigation defense on behalf of manufacturers
- Organize and analyze large amounts of information and data sets
- Prepare witness files and materials for depositions
- Conduct financial analyses and calculate damages and/or settlements based on manufacturer and consumer documentation and records
- Produce clear and concise reports and summaries for legal teams and clients, aligned with client goals and defense strategies
- Manage the calendar for a high-volume litigation practice
- Effectively and reliably handle discovery and case management with minimal supervision
- Assist with special projects and duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Five or more years of litigation experience, preferably in a mid or large-sized law firm or high-volume practice
- Comprehensive experience with written discovery and a deep understanding of discovery processes and procedures
- Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and varying requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a team across different offices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required
- Proficiency in database management, web-based portal systems, and SharePoint strongly preferred
