Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to the IP Patent legal staff
- Preparing and filing formal documents with the . Patent and Trademark Office
- Maintaining patent application files and monitoring attorney case dockets
- Managing calendars and coordinating travel arrangements
- Creating and editing legal documents, memos, and presentations
- Time entry and billing
- Composing correspondence and reports
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as an executive or legal assistant in a large law firm or corporate environment (3-5 years preferred)
- Experience with preparing formal documents for USPTO patent filings and maintaining . patent application files
- Knowledge of international procedures and requirements preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle high levels of demand
