Job Description:
The Assistant General Counsel - Real Estate & Commercial will be responsible for providing strategic legal counsel on real estate matters for Hub Group. This includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate leases, amendments, and related agreements to ensure alignment with the company's operational and strategic goals. They will also provide legal support for lease compliance and risk assessments, as well as support for any lease-related disputes.
In addition, the Assistant General Counsel will also be responsible for drafting and negotiating other commercial contracts for Hub Group, including customer and supplier agreements. They will be responsible for managing the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting to execution. The individual in this role will also track and implement legal developments related to real estate and commercial matters that may impact Hub Group.
The Assistant General Counsel will also play a key role in analyzing data and processes and making recommendations for continuous improvement. They will be expected to provide creative and proactive legal counseling to support the company's various business units. Building strong client relationships and developing a deep understanding of Hub Group's businesses will also be important aspects of this role.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $210,000/year. This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however it may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand.
