Law Firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Security to join our team. As the Director of Information Security, you will be responsible for developing and enforcing information security policies and procedures throughout our enterprise. This is a crucial role in our firm as we continue to grow and expand our services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security, compliance, risk management, and privacy frameworks, as well as experience in a law firm setting. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, manage, and enforce information security policies and procedures throughout the firm's enterprise.
• Work with the firm's Information Technology teams to ensure compliance with security policies and applicable laws.
• Implement and maintain security models to enforce policies and procedures.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Handle security incidents and conduct investigations as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices in network security.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the security of on-premise and cloud systems.
Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in an Information Security management role.
• CISSP certification.
• Strong knowledge of Windows system administration and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
• Expert understanding of cloud controls and environments.
• Experience with IT security, compliance, risk, and privacy frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA.
• Previous experience in a law firm is highly desired.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proven track record of delivering results individually and as part of a team.
