Job Summary:
- As an Experienced Insurance Defense Trial Attorney at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Insurance, you will be responsible for representing clients in cases involving all areas of tort practice.
- This is a virtual position with the opportunity to handle cases primarily in the Inland Empire/Orange County areas.

- You will handle cases of moderate to severe complexity and/or exposure, and may also assist other attorneys in their assigned cases.
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs for cases involving moderate to severe injuries and/or damages.
- Attend hearings, conferences, interviews, trials, or arbitrations as required.
- Functionally supervise other attorneys who assist in the handling of particular cases.
- Consult with Claims Departments on insurance policy questions and legal aspects of personal injury claims.
- Keep supervisor informed of work being done for clients and any problems encountered.
- Maintain and update computerized litigation support systems for assigned caseloads.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Actions:
- This job may require carrying and lifting up to 25 pounds, as well as hearing, seeing, standing, and walking (including stairs and steps).
Physical Environment:
- Job duties are typically performed in a climate-controlled office environment, with some exposure to outside environmental conditions and travel via automobile or commercial transportation.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree and law school degree required.
- Must be a member in good standing of the State Bar in the state where the position is located.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of three years as an Attorney with civil jury trial experience or equivalent dispositive ADR experience.
- Must be capable of handling cases of moderate to great exposure and/or complexity with minimum supervision.
Special Skill Requirement:
- Strong public speaking skills and ability to handle high case loads in adversarial or confrontational situations.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
