H2: The Team

A&M's Restructuring Tax Services (RTS) team specializes in advising debtors, creditors, and alternative parties on non-routine tax matters in bankruptcy and out-of-court restructurings. We help distressed companies navigate tax issues and optimize their tax assets during the restructuring process.

H2: How You Will Contribute

As a Director in RTS, you will:

- Support the team in advising public and private companies on restructuring tax issues
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on relevant tax and bankruptcy code sections and regulations
- Prepare comprehensive summaries of financial information
- Build and maintain financial models and management presentations
- Participate in discussions with clients and their advisors
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the practice
- CPA, JD, Masters in Taxation, or LLM
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in a mergers & acquisitions tax practice and 4+ years in restructuring tax
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in spreadsheets
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Desire to learn and grow professionally and mentor junior team members
