Job Description:
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking an experienced Assistant General Counsel to join their North American Legal team. This role will support various business units and involve negotiating complex agreements, providing legal advice and support, and managing a team of lawyers and contract managers. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of experience in complex commercial contracting and a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school in the .
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate complex agreements related to products, services, software, and components for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s business and customer projects
- Provide strategic legal support and advice to internal business clients, proactively mitigating risk and identifying areas for policy change
- Advise on pre-dispute matters and develop strategies for resolving disputes with customers
- Develop best practices and provide legal trainings for internal clients
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with leadership to manage legal risks to the business
- Manage a team of lawyers and contract managers and partner with them to deliver legal advice and support
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school in the .
