Attorney Professional Development Coordinator – Practice Group Talent Support – New York Office

The Role

Coordinator responsible for supporting the professional development of midlevel associates and counsel within the firm’s practice groups.
Reports to the Attorney Professional Development Managers.
Works closely with the Talent Development team and Practice Group Leaders to support training, mentoring, and feedback initiatives.
Assists with onboarding, integration, and offboarding of attorneys.
Supports the firm’s talent review process and leadership academies.
Handles scheduling, communications, and special projects for the Talent Development Department.

Salary Information

Salary range in CA for this role is $62-$80k.
Actual compensation offered will depend on candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.

Experience Information

Minimum of 2 years of experience in development or program coordination in a legal professional environment.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Knowledge of attorney development procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal stakeholders on practice group-based training initiatives and programs.
Support the firm’s talent review process and participate in practice group meetings.
Assist with attorney onboarding, integration, and offboarding.
Support programming and curriculum for the Associate/Counsel Leadership Academies.
Liaise with other business professional departments.
Handle scheduling, drafting invitations, and other communications.
Assist with special projects and firmwide initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and intellectually rigorous environment.
Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Collaborative, resilient, and high energy team player.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
