Position Description:
- Represent Liberty Mutual and policyholders in complex civil litigation matters
- Handle all stages of the legal process, including investigation, discovery, trial preparation, and court proceedings
- Develop legal strategies and share them with claims representatives and insured clients
- Maintain good relationships with clients and conduct training sessions for various departments
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys
- Collaborate with colleagues who are remotely located
Qualifications:
- Membership in the MN Bar
- Appropriate special licenses to practice before boards or federal courts preferred
- A minimum of six years of successful experience as an attorney
- Talent for cultivating strong working relationships
- Detail-oriented and analytical thinking skills
- Persuasive oral and written communication skills
- General knowledge of insurance law
- Familiarity with the latest developments in the practice of law
- Proficiency with technologies that facilitate remote work
