Attorneys - Intellectual Property The candidate will draft and prosecute patent applications, prepare patent opinion letters, invalidity analysis, non-infringement analysis, provide IP counseling to clients, and conduct patent due diligence studies in connection with business transactions, and working with other practices in the firm to provide full service to electrical/software related technology companies. Should preferably have strong academic credentials, with a particular emphasis in technical work experience and/or advanced technical degree in the electrical/software space, as well as patent preparation and prosecution experience in the electrical/software space with particular emphasis in drafting complex software patent applications with an insight to the USPTO guidelines regarding patentable subject matter and software patent practice tips to advance such complex software patent applications to issuance, technical work experience and/or patent prosecution experience backgrounds in one of the following fields is a plus: electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, computer architecture, artificial intelligence, software monitoring platforms, cloud computing platforms, neurological computing, signal processing, telecommunications, GPU and CPU architecture, semi-conductors, image processing, and similar disciplines. Should have 2+ years of patent prosecution experience. Current Patent Bar membership with previous law firm experience is preferred.
