Overview:

This role involves advising on compliance with federal and state regulations, contract negotiations, and supporting the organization's strategic initiatives in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and laws, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on healthcare regulatory issues, such as HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute
- Assist in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts related to healthcare transactions
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support compliance initiatives and regulatory filings
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Monitor changes in healthcare laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance
- Support the General Counsel in managing litigation and regulatory investigations
- Provide training and guidance for staff on legal and compliance matters

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in Florida, Texas, NC, Tennessee, and/or Georgia (preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in healthcare law, with a focus on regulatory compliance and transactions
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and laws
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively
- Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
