Pre-Law/Criminal Justice Students: This internship is designed to provide students with the opportunity to learn about criminal defense law and gain valuable experience in a law firm setting. The student will work closely with our team of attorneys and staff members to assist with case management and other tasks as needed.

Functions:

Our internship program offers two options for students interested in criminal defense law: one for current law students and one for pre-law/criminal justice students.

Law Students:

Our internship program for law students is designed to give them a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to practice criminal defense law. Students will have the chance to work with one or more attorneys, assisting with research, writing memoranda, and managing case files. They will also have the opportunity to attend client meetings, trials, hearings, arguments, and depositions as needed.

Functions:

- Conduct case research and write memoranda
- Manage case files
- Assist with trial, hearing, and deposition preparation
- Attend legal proceedings and client meetings
- Other duties as assigned
