Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Associate for our Westlaw SWAT Team in Eagan, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for articulating the value of Westlaw to both internal and external audiences. You will analyze and synthesize legal information, work closely with business partners, and create compelling presentations and materials. Additionally, you will provide coaching and resources to sales and client executives. We value enthusiasm, creativity, and camaraderie on our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct significant legal research and make it relevant to specific practice areas and customers
Analyze and interpret legal content and customer usage data
Position Westlaw value propositions to all segments
Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to leverage legal research information
Create targeted presentations in PowerPoint
Deliver presentations that anticipate customer needs
Coach and train on Westlaw value presentation
Perform qualitative assessment of genAI and LLM output
Requirements:
JD degree required
Admission to a state bar strongly preferred
5+ years of legal experience
Mastery of legal research skills, including experience with Westlaw and other online tools
Strong presentation skills
Understanding of the legal market for Westlaw
Ability to interpret and analyze complex legal material quickly and accurately
Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Team player with strong communication skills
Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office applications

Salary Information:

The base compensation range for this role is $88,200 - $163,800, with potential for an annual bonus based on performance. Base pay is determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration for internal equity.
