Job Title: Lateral Associate - Corporate - Investment Funds (DC)
Salary Range: $310,000 - $420,000 per year
Experience: Law school class years 2018-2021
Law firm is seeking a Lateral Associate with experience in Corporate and Investment Funds to join our highly-regarded sponsor side private equity fund formation practice in Washington, . This is a great opportunity to work directly with and receive training from leading practitioners, as well as have meaningful client interaction on cutting-edge matters. We are looking for candidates in law school class years 2018 to 2021.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the formation, structuring, and negotiation of private equity funds
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on various fund formation and investment-related issues
- Review and analyze fund documents, including limited partnership agreements and subscription agreements
- Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and provide strategic advice on legal and regulatory matters
- Participate in client meetings and calls, as well as attend industry events and conferences
Qualifications:
- Law school class years 2018-2021
- Strong academic credentials
- Previous experience in corporate and/or investment funds, preferably in a law firm setting
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Admitted to practice in Washington, .
