Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily administrative operations of the law office.
- Maintain vendor relationships and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports.
- Create and manage client billing, including payments and trust account management.
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Utilize Clio law practice management software for case tracking and manage client communication and document management.
- Assist the managing attorney with staff administrative needs as required.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in office administration, preferably in a legal setting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for accounting tasks and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Clio law practice management software or a similar program.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
- Experience in trust account management and compliance.
- Familiarity with office management software.
