Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Associate or Partner-level Land Use and Real Estate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in land use, zoning, real estate development, and environmental law, with a strong track record of advising clients on complex projects. This role offers the opportunity to take on significant responsibility in both client management and the growth of the practice, including leadership opportunities and potential for partnership.

Responsibilities:

Advise clients on a wide range of land use and real estate matters, including zoning, planning, entitlements, development agreements, and environmental regulations.
Manage complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing, with an emphasis on development and public-private partnerships.
Lead negotiations on behalf of clients with public agencies, local governments, and other stakeholders in securing approvals for major land use projects.
Represent clients in land use hearings, administrative proceedings, and litigation involving zoning, property rights, and regulatory compliance.
Provide strategic advice on environmental compliance, CEQA, NEPA, and related issues in real estate and land development projects.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, municipalities, developers, and government agencies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Supervise and mentor junior associates, paralegals, and other team members while fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment.
Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and leading marketing initiatives for the firm's land use and real estate practice.
