Law Firm in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Litigation Assistant with at least 2 years of experience in a legal setting. This individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the law firm, including administrative tasks and supporting the legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics
- Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Implement and improve upon administrative processes for more efficient workflow
- Collect, examine, and organize evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation
- Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents
- Research regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist with case preparation
- Manage client billing and resolve billing issues
- Communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions
- Manage and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associates degree in paralegal studies, paralegal certificate, or bachelor's degree preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- At least 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant, legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas preferred
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in calendar depositions, mediation, and hearings
- Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures
- Highly organized with the ability to meet multiple deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Computer and database expertise, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and typing speed of at least 35 wpm
- Not eligible for remote work
