- The Privacy Counsel will work in the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Legal Department’s Privacy & Data Protection Team and will report to the Global Privacy Leader
- Provide advice and counsel to the product development team and other teams of the assigned business group and/or geos responsible for ensuring the responsible use and protection of customer, consumer, user and employee personal data and other information of concern
- Monitor, analyze, and report on privacy and data protection legal, regulatory and policy developments and advise on requirements and standards that may affect business functions, customer relationships, and its supply chain globally
- Lead and/or support important projects to design and execute **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s privacy and data protection policies and data governance strategies to meet global legal requirements, industry standards, and customer requirements
- Provide advice and counsel on privacy and data protection incident investigations and response and mitigation workstreams in partnership with Motorola security teams and other stakeholders
- Design and execute privacy and data protection education and awareness training and resources for the Legal Department and **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. community at large
- Work closely and direct support a range of stakeholders internally including, but not limited to, other legal department groups; information, product, and physical security teams; product development; marketing and sales; customer service; information technology; human resources; and supply chain and procurement
- Effective written and verbal skills, and experience in communicating complex issues to business teams and senior leaders
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex legal, regulatory, compliance, and strategic problems
- Project management experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Combination of law firm and private industry experience preferred
- 10% travel expected
- This role can be filled in Morrisville, NC or Chicago, IL, but **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s hybrid work policy of 3:2 would be required
- Remote work is not an option
