They are currently seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to join their team and support their proposal efforts. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in proposal writing and a passion for business development to join a dynamic and growing law firm. In this role, the Senior Proposal Specialist will work closely with attorneys, business development team members, and other subject matter experts to create and submit proposals for the firm.

Responsibilities:

- Develop responses to formal requests for proposals (RFPs) and other proposal opportunities
- Collaborate with attorneys and other firm personnel to evaluate and plan proposals
- Act as project manager for assigned RFPs, keeping all information and deadlines organized
- Lead internal meetings and serve as a consultant to guide participants through the RFP response process
- Coordinate with subject matter experts across the firm to gather information and research
- Edit and draft proposal content, including practice group, subpractice group, and matter descriptions
- Maintain and update proposal and experience databases
- Research best practices and market trends related to RFPs and pitches
- Train business development team members on RFP tools and processes

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field
- 5-7 years of proposal development experience in a law firm or professional services organization
- Excellent written communication and organizational skills
- Strong editing and proofreading abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure of deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Compensation:

- Salary range for Chicago, San Diego, and Washington . locations: $82,200 - $118,100
- Salary range for Denver location: $76,100 - $109,400
