We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our pre-litigation department and help us continue our mission of caring for people and advocating for community safety.
Job Summary:
As an Associate Attorney at Feller & Wendt, you will play a crucial role in managing personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement negotiations. Your responsibilities will include conducting case evaluations, communicating with clients and insurance adjusters, drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and staying updated on relevant laws and industry trends. We are looking for someone with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school in the state you are hired for (Utah, Arizona, and/or Idaho)
- Admission to the bar in the state you are hired for
- 1-3 years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on pre-litigation matters preferred
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software

Compensation & Benefits:
At Feller & Wendt, we value our employees and offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- Salary: $70,000 - $135,000 per year (based on experience) plus quarterly performance bonuses

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Ability to Relocate: Layton, Utah; Meridian, Idaho; or Mesa, Arizona depending on location you are hired for.
