Job Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified Toxic Tort Junior Associate to join our team at a prestigious law firm in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in asbestos or toxic tort litigation and a Juris Doctor degree from a top law school. This is a hybrid position, meaning it will involve both remote and in-office work.
Responsibilities Include:
- Taking and defending expert and witness depositions
- Drafting original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters
- Drafting discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties
- Developing client relationships through oral and written communication
- Preparation for trial including motions in limine, exhibit lists, witness lists
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience is required
- Must have a Juris Doctor degree from a top law school
- Must be licensed in California
- Self-motivated individual with high energy willing to do whatever it takes to complete responsibilities on deadline
- Experience in a billable work environment
- Superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail
Salary:
The salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
Locations:
This position is located in Los Angeles, but due to the hybrid nature of the role, remote work may also be possible.
