Job Title: Financial Advisor Senior
Salary: Commission-based, with annual compensation range of $70,000 to $130,000
Experience: Minimum 5 years of investment related experience, minimum 3 years experience in investment sales
Job Summary:
The Senior Financial Advisor (SFA) is responsible for developing new business and maintaining relationships with affluent individuals and families within a specific market. They provide asset management, financial planning, and brokerage services advice to clients and collaborate with colleagues to offer comprehensive wealth management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned line of business within Wealth Management
- Develop new relationships with affluent clients through internal sources, referrals, and personal community involvement
- Profile clients to understand their investment needs and collaborate with colleagues to provide appropriate solutions
- Lead sales meetings and client presentations at branch offices and client locations
- Take a lead role in managing investment services for clients, including regular communication and updates
- Team effectively with colleagues to provide wealth management services across all product offerings
- Analyze financial needs of clients and make adjustments or take action accordingly
- Ensure all client materials and presentations are prepared and analyzed prior to meetings
- Review and manage client portfolios, making adjustments as needed to meet investment objectives and risk tolerance
- Comply with all bank policies and regulatory requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of investment related experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in investment sales
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 and 65 or 66
- California Insurance License
Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated success in an investment product sales role over a multi-year period
- Strong understanding of financial planning and investment process
- Solid product knowledge and relationship management skills
- Collaborative and positive attitude towards working with colleagues
- BA or equivalent 8 years of experience in financial services, or MBA and 3-5 years of experience
- CFP, JD/LLM, CIMA, or Cannon Certified Wealth Strategist designation preferred
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities licenses and state insurance license required
- CFP designation highly preferred
Compensation:
Starting base salary is not included as this position is a commission-based role. The overall annualized compensation range is $70,000 to $130,000.
