We are currently seeking a Complex Claims Director to join our Casualty claims team. This role offers a unique opportunity to handle and adjust all facets of Casualty claims in a collaborative and supportive team environment. We are looking for experienced professionals with a minimum of 10 years of experience in handling Casualty claims, or equivalent, to join our team in one of our various office locations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and adjust Casualty claims with a focus on customer service and technical file quality
- Proactively handle claims from start to resolution, working closely with clients and brokers
- Collaborate with the insured and broker throughout the claims process
- Analyze and draft coverage letters and effectively communicate coverage positions
- Conduct and coordinate investigations and ensure timely resolution of claims
- Oversee assignments to experts and defense counsel as needed
- Evaluate exposure to the insured and the company through analysis of coverage, liability, and damages
- Draft reports, set reserves, and make claim recommendations
- Travel as needed for conferences, mediations, meetings, and trials

Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in handling Casualty claims or equivalent
- Technical competence in handling specialized claims
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, investigative, and negotiation skills
- Experience in handling claims in multiple jurisdictions and obtain necessary adjuster licenses

Salary Range and Additional Information:

- Base salary range of $140,000 to $160,000, with annual bonus eligibility
- Total compensation based on skills, location, and experience
- Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the organization
