MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST - LAE - JOB DESCRIPTION
- Support the LAE Practice in executing marketing and business development activities
- Work closely with litigation lawyers in the Americas to generate cross-selling business opportunities
- Become knowledgeable in commercial litigation, including appellate, securities, M&A, financial services, and insurance disputes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans and budgets
- Conduct research on clients, competitors, and industry trends to inform marketing and pitch strategies
- Manage and support submissions to ranking and award programs
- Coordinate internal and external profile-building programs to publicize victories, thought leadership, and practice accolades
- Create and update marketing collateral, including web content, brochures, and biographies
- Collaborate with other practice groups and offices to share knowledge and best practices
- Identify and coordinate participation in events that strategically support business development objectives
- Participate in the firm's Global Citizenship program
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services organization
- BS or BA degree
- Experience in client development and new business development programs
- Strong client service-oriented mindset
- Ability to think critically and demonstrate a can-do attitude
- Pragmatic, diplomatic, and resourceful
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Experience working independently and in cross-functional teams
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Excellent research skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with marketing AI applications a plus
HOURS
- Core hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 . to 6:00 . with flexibility for additional hours and occasional travel
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Annualized salary range: $79,000 to $119,000, depending on experience and location
- Eligible for discretionary bonus and fringe benefits
