About the Internship Programs:
The Court's internship programs offer participants the opportunity to gain practical work experience and develop valuable skills while learning about court procedures and operations. These programs aim to provide a better understanding and appreciation for the judicial system.

Paralegal Program:
The Paralegal program offers hands-on experience in preparing legal documents for cases involving child support, spousal support, and health insurance issues. Participants will have access to networking opportunities and an overview of Court processes and procedures.

Placement Areas: Family Law (Self-Help Centers, Domestic Violence Clinic, Guardianship Clinic, Toll Family Law Counseling Center with LAFLA)

Eligibility:
- Currently enrolled students in paralegal schools, colleges, or universities in LA County
- Individuals who have completed a Paralegal certificate program in paralegal schools, colleges, or universities

Note: Most programs allow participation as an intern and offer accreditation or course credit from their school or certification program. Applicants are responsible for ensuring the Court's program meets the requirements of their specific course/program to receive credit.

What to Expect:
If selected, applicants will be placed on an eligibility list for up to 6 months and considered for available opportunities.
