KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our International Tax practice in various locations across the United States, including Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; McLean, VA; Miami, FL; New York, NY; and Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities:
- Direct multinational enterprises on business decisions, tax planning, and income tax treaty planning
- Advise on tax implications of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other transactions
- Prepare tax provisions and compliance work for financial statements
- Guide clients on international tax law provisions and potential risks
- Provide tax services to alternative investment companies globally
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in international, mergers and acquisitions, or federal tax planning
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree in Taxation or JD/LLM preferred
- Strong knowledge of international and domestic tax law
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to lead multiple engagements and work well in a team
- Develop and maintain client relationships
