Business Development Manager – Americas Capital Markets, Debt Finance, Structured Finance

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving growth for the Americas Capital Markets, Debt Finance, and Structured Finance practices through strategic planning and execution of business development and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead business development efforts and initiatives for the Americas Capital Markets, Debt Finance, and Structured Finance practices.
- Foster a collaborative environment and promote an exceptional culture within the team.
- Implement best practices for the team and oversee the development of a direct report.
- Drive the execution of strategic business plans and track progress.
- Work closely with senior BD and practice leadership on cross-selling and client targeting efforts.
- Oversee pitches, RFP responses, and the development of practice group credentials and materials.
- Conduct client feedback interviews and ensure appropriate action is taken.
- Evaluate practice group strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, and conduct research on clients, competitors, and industry trends.
- Act as Client Account Manager for key client accounts.
- Coordinate with other teams to raise the profile of the firm and these practices.
- Organize and attend partner meetings and follow-up on agreed actions.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant business development experience in a professional services firm.
- Excellent analytical and research skills.
- Strong people management skills.
- Proactive thinker with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to develop strong knowledge of the supported practices and markets.
- Experience writing pitches and proposals.
- Knowledge of Finance and Capital Markets preferred.
- Corporate law firm experience preferred.
Salary Information:
- Estimated base salary: $165,000 - $195,000
- Actual salary offered will be based on job-related factors.
- Non-exempt role with overtime pay eligibility.
