**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., a premier Northwest regional law firm, is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Attorney with at least 10 years of experience to join our team. This full-time position is based in either our Portland, Oregon or Seattle, Washington office, with consideration for qualified candidates in any of our office locations. Key Responsibilities:
• Design, draft, and amend qualified retirement plans under Code § 401(a) and other tax-favored plans
• Assist clients with correcting errors in retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and executive compensation arrangements
• Advise on benefits and compensation for corporate transactions, restructurings, and other situations
• Design, document, and administer ERISA health and welfare plan documents and summary plan descriptions
• Provide guidance on contract and trust law issues for multiemployer plans
• Analyze and advise on multiemployer pension plan withdrawal liability
• Familiarity with employment-related documents and 409A issues
• Review Merger & Acquisition documents for ERISA-related items
• Knowledge of non-qualified deferred compensation arrangements and Code §§ 409A, 457, and 280G
• Excellent academic credentials and professional references
• Strong legal research, analysis, writing, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ownership of projects and ability to work independently and in a team-oriented setting
• Strong client service ethics
• Admission to Oregon, Washington, California, or Alaska State Bar (depending on job location)

Salary and Benefits:
• Salary range: $200,000 - $250,000 (higher base compensation may be available based on portable book of business)
• Discretionary merit bonus and consideration at the end of each calendar year
