Bankruptcy Associate Attorney The candidate will prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13s, objections to Chapter 13 plans. Chapter 11 experience and adversary matters experience a plus. Response to motions to value, oppositions to objections to claim, review and interpret all documents (legal & otherwise) deed of trusts, notes, assignments, property title, dockets, pleadings, etc. Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors, and debtors' attorneys.

The candidate must have 3 years of relevant experience representing creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters; licensed to practice law and in good standing in Maryland to join a rapidly growing firm; admitted to practice and in good standing in Maryland and all federal bankruptcy courts; admitted to practice in other states a plus; experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research; excellent leadership skills; excellent communication and organization abilities; strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize high volume workload. Must be able to proficiently handle appearances, all aspects of creditor representation with minimal or no supervision.
